This is the i586 DVD image of the second alpha release of Mandriva Linux 2008 Spring. The major features of this alpha since the last one include updated NVIDIA/ATI proprietary drivers, the initial inclusion of the noveau open-source NVIDIA driver, TeX Live replacing teTeX, and a major package rebuild. As such, this has a much smoother experience than the previous alpha build. On the desktop side, not much has changed, aside from the kernel jumping to version 2.6.24 RC7 and GNOME being upgraded to 2.21.4. Have fun!
