The actor, who passed away in February from heart disease, played character Neil Winters on the long-running CBS soap opera for nearly three decades.

View StoryAccording to AP, on Tuesday through Friday, Neil's storyline will come to an end as his friends and family will gather in Genoa City to remember the businessman after his unexpected death.
"Y&R's" head writer Josh Griffith told the new agency that viewers will need "to prepare themselves for a very profoundly emotional journey over those four days, and have lots of boxes of Kleenex right by. But in the end, as we knew that Kristoff would want it, it goes from being a passing of him to a celebration of his life."
As an African-American, St. John helped create more diversity in the world of traditionally all-white soap operas.
"He was too humble and grounded to consider himself someone who had broken any ground," Griffith said. "He was just an actor who came to work doing something he loved, and he never really approached it any other way."

"This Thursday.... April 25th, before you see me on @swatcbs .... you will see ME and MY @youngandrestlesscbs FAMILY say our goodbyes to Kristoff St John AKA Neil Winters," he captioned the post. "He touched so many of our LIVES in so many ways... Always made us LAUGH.... He was a bigger GOOFBALL than me... and I wouldn't be who I am today without the LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, and GUIDANCE of my BROTHER!!!"

According to TMZ, who first reported the news at the time, St. John was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home on February 3.
The soap actor had a tragic history with suicide and mental illness, having lost his son, Julian, who took his own life in 2014 at the young age of 24. Back in 2017, St. John threatened to kill himself with a gun and was placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold. A source also told TMZ that St. John checked himself into UCLA Medical Center for depression last month and had just recently been released. St. John is survived by his fiancée, Kseniya Mikhaleva, and his two daughters, Paris and Lola, from previous relationships.
It was revealed last month St. John's cause of death was an accident due to "hypertrophic heart disease...and effects of ethanol," the Los Angeles County's coroner's office said, according to People.
St. John was 52.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 11:30 am PT on CBS.
