The fabric featured colorful designs on a nude field and was slightly sheer, enabling the wearer to hint at her shapely legs.

She sharpened her unmistakable features with makeup including a slick of scarlet lipstick that elegantly complemented the print on her dress.

Wearing her signature blonde hair in a sleek bob reminiscent of the flapper era, she lent the look a touch of glitz with a pair of earrings.

Rahul Mishra, whose flagship shop is located in the trendy Delhi neighborhood Mehrauli, has based his latest line on the cosmos.

'This collection is the most labor-intensive collection we have done,' he said in a recent interview with Vogue India. 'I think every outfit has been a labor of love, the collection Cosmos is a difficult idea to interpret in clothing.'

He explained his inspiration: 'When you look at galaxies and interstellar bodies in the sky, you think that’s the cosmos. But if you look towards yourself, you will find so many details that make up a person, it’s almost a parallel cosmos that exists.'

The designer shared that his latest collection 'borrows from a very spiritual quote: "Yat Pinde Tat Brahmande," which translates to what lies is also within you.'

He also shed some light on the process of designing clothes that will appeal to wearers both in India and internationally.

'When I look at India or Paris, the global market versus the Indian market, or the bridal genre for example, we might adapt to certain ideas into different shapes,' he told Vogue India in his new interview. 'But the process, the ethos behind making it, the philosophy and the art works are quite similar.'

By way of example, he said: 'Sometimes, the bodies might also be similar structures, there’s no harm in calling a lehenga a paneled skirt - I'm experimenting with it this time, along with some beautiful gowns.'
