- 3.2-litre V6 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission and Quattro system generating 250 hp
AUDI A3 SECOND GENERATION FACELIFT (2008)
The second generation received a facelift with a modified front grille and new Daylight Running Lights. An RS3 version was introduced which featured a 2.5-litre inline-five engine with a Quattro system and a seven-speed S Tronic transmission. It generated 340 hp. In addition, Audi A3 Cabriolet was also launched as a convertible body type with a soft top.
AUDI A3 THIRD GENERATION (2013-2019)
The third generation of the Audi A3 was launched at the Geneva Motor Show. It was released as a three-door and five-door Sportback, two-door Cabriolet and a four-door saloon. The Sportback housed a narrow frontal area with a raked car windshield and a roof spoiler.
Inside, the dashboard was available in three trim levels: Attraction, Ambition and Ambiente. Moreover, a rotary controller interface screen with physical shortcut buttons was also added.
The engine lineup for the third generation included the following:
- A 1.2-litre TFSI paired with a six-speed manual and a seven-speed automatic transmission producing 110 hp

The third generation of the A3 also witnessed the launch of the Hybrid A3 Sportback e-tron which featured a 1.4-litre TFSI engine. An S3 model with a 2.0-litre TFSI engine and another RS3 Sportback were added to the lineup.
