FOR WHO IS SAO TOME E PRINCIPE?

For beach lovers who love non crowded destinations

For those who love the islands soft living lifestyle

For those who like to explore, and interact with local people

If Etiopia gives you the fascinating culture, the history, the UNESCO world Heritage sites; if many of the other African destinations give you access to wildlife and wilderness areas, few African islands will carry so well that unexplored, un-touristy vibe as Sao Tome and Principe does. Beaches and ocean landscapes are paradise, of course. I mean jaw-dropping beauties. But there are not back to back big resorts, night clubs or western life style restaurants. Both islands are too small for that. However there are a couple of exquisite properties - the kind of places you don’t ever want to leave because of the service, the pools, the rooms, the spa… and and.

Believe me though: you will be so in awe when going around the villages, visiting the fisherman, the schools, going inside people’s homes and gardens, buying at local stores and just seeing how well locals slow live. Also, if your timing is right. you can spend a full night out watching the sea turtles come to the shores, dig big holes in the sand and drop their eggs. It’s the most heartwarming experience.

The fishermen villages are must, as well as the many trekking expeditions you can do in both islands. You can also go around by boat, visit chocolate or coffee farm plantations, try local restaurants and go the beach.
