Kelly Rutherford has a lot to celebrate Fourth of July weekend after being reunited with her kids.
The “Gossip Girl” star was seen meeting with daughter Helena, 6, and son Hermes, 8, in New York City on Friday.
The actress received a celebratory kiss from her boyfriend Tony Brand in front of their apartment building as her two children looked on.
Rutherford’s reunion with her kids in the U.S. was the result of a small victory in her ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Daniel Giersch.
The kids had been living with Giersch in Monaco since 2012, with Rutherford visiting with them overseas as she continued her court battle with her ex to bring her children back to the U.S.
A Los Angeles judge ruled last month that the children can spend the summer with their mother in the United States.
The judge also said that the children should return to the States for summer vacation while their parents prepare for a two-day evidentiary hearing set to begin July 9.
But the star’s visit from her kids is only temporary, as Helena and Hermes must return to Monaco where they will continue living with their father.
Rutherford married Giersch, a German businessman, in 2006 and filed for divorce in 2008 while pregnant with their second child.
A rep for Rutherford did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.
