Congratulations on a job well done! The staff and volunteers in Resurrection Catholic School’s Child Nutrition Program have provided breakfast, lunch and dinner to children since mid-March. Initially they were serving meals to about 180 children but it quickly grew to over 250 per day, Monday through Friday. The vast majority of the meals have been delivered to children in communities where parents have no transportation. In addition to the meals, USDA produce boxes have been delivered once a week since early July. For their efforts, the program was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the State of Alabama Department of Education which is very well deserved.
