Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero is set to be sidelined for a couple of games with a thigh injury.
Aguero picked up the muscle problem in the first leg of Atletico's Copa del Rey quarter-final tie against Real Madrid on Thursday.
The damage has since been assessed and the Argentine will now miss Monday's Primera Liga match with Real Mallorca.
He will also sit out the second leg of the cup clash with Real Madrid in midweek, with Atletico needing to overturn a 3-1 deficit.
"They are telling me I need at least 10 days of recuperation," the player told his own personal website.
"I am annoyed because I don't like missing any matches and even less so given we have such an important week ahead of us.
"I have no option but to work to recover."
