Maxwell Azzarello Made Claims About Trump-Biden Coup Before Setting Himself On Fire

The person who lit himself on fire outside the Manhattan courtroom has been identified as Max Azzarello, a self self-described ‘investigative researcher’, The New York Police Department confirmed on Friday. He was yelling slogans about an apparent Joe Biden-Donald Trump coup and a ponzi scheme before self- immolating, a witness told media outlets.

Witnesses also said that Azzarello left a stack of his manifesto documents at the site. Upon checking, we found his manifesto on a website named Ponzi Papers. In the article, he wrote: “My name is Max Azzarello, and I am an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside of the Trump trial in Manhattan.”

The man, a Florida native, is in critical condition, the NYPD said. Authorities further added a few police officers sustained minor injuries during his rescue. Azzarello, of St. Augustine, arrived in New York from last week, and his family had been unaware he had traveled out of state, police said.

Police further confirmed that moments before he doused himself in gasoline, the self-immolator tossed a stack of pamphlets into the air. They included links to a Substack newsletter apparently called “The Ponzi Papers.”

His manifesto further said: "This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery: We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup."

He went on to claim that Bill Clinton was secretly on George Bush's side. "The Democrat vs. Republican division has been entirely manufactured ever since: Clinton is with Bush; Gore is with Bush; Trump is with Hillary, and so on,” the manifesto reads, claiming, “As it turns out, we have a secret kleptocracy: Both parties are run by financial criminals whose only goals are to divide, deceive, and bleed us dry."
